Success Story: Cresta La Cultura Builds Transparent Payment Processes with EasyStaff Payroll
About
Cresta La Cultura is an international music label bringing together over 500 artists from different countries, including musicians, designers, visual artists and video creators. By 2026, the label has released more than 1,500 tracks, generating over 4 billion streams across global platforms.
A core element of the company’s business model is its globally distributed network of contractors. This is why, ensuring transparent and timely international payments is a top priority for Cresta La Cultura’s leadership.
Challenge
The company faced critical difficulties when paying fees and royalties to artists and contractors across multiple countries—particularly in the CIS region, where local banks often restrict incoming foreign currency transfers from the UAE and Europe. Some artists remained in the CIS, while others relocated to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Poland and the United States. As a result, Cresta La Cultura needed a system capable of covering all these regions seamlessly at the same time.
Internal processes added further strain. The accounting and operations teams had to manually collect payment details, investigate stalled transactions, communicate with banks and recipients and separately manage supporting documentation. At the same time, the company needed to ensure compliant closing documents for accounting purposes and build a process that could scale without constant manual intervention.
Solution
The team evaluated several platforms, but most failed to support SWIFT payments to CIS countries or could not provide compliant documentation for a foreign-registered legal entity. EasyStaff Payroll addressed both challenges at once. The platform supports the required payment channels while automatically generating closing documents in a format suitable for an international company.
Another key factor was service responsiveness: onboarding was fast, and support from a dedicated account manager helped the team quickly understand and implement the processes without unnecessary time investment.
Results
After implementing EasyStaff Payroll, the operational burden on accounting and operations teams decreased significantly. The need to manually collect payment details, resolve stalled transactions, and communicate with banks for each payment was eliminated. Around 100 contractors across different regions now receive payments through a unified process—without disruptions related to correspondent bank requirements.
In addition, a major improvement was the normalization of document workflows. Closing documents for each payment are now generated automatically and meet accounting requirements, which is particularly important for a foreign-registered company working with individuals worldwide. The payment model from a UAE-based legal entity became transparent and easy to understand both for internal reporting and for contractors.
As a result, the company now has a scalable process: adding new artists and markets no longer creates additional operational burden, allowing the team to focus on growing the label rather than managing payments.
Future
Cresta La Cultura continues to expand its catalog and onboard new artists. EasyStaff Payroll remains a core payment infrastructure as the company scales geographically and operationally, with no plans to return to manual processes or seek alternative solutions.
“We see EasyStaff as a long-term partner. As we grow, it is crucial that our payment infrastructure scales with us without requiring us to rebuild processes each time,” says Nikita Klimkovich, founder of Cresta La Cultura.
